Benjamen Toth
I create evocative visual art inspired by the natural world, cinematic storytelling, and a lifelong devotion to the craft.
My artistic journey began in the rolling foothills of Northern California’s El Dorado County. It was there that I learned the nuances of color, form, and classical technique under the mentorship of my grandmother, a master painter. Seeking to expand my creative language, I moved to Los Angeles to study film school, merging my classical foundation with modern visual storytelling.
Today, my work blends that rich painterly tradition with a dynamic, cinematic eye. This deep passion for creativity shapes my entire life, whether I am designing new artwork in the studio, managing social media on the board of the Santa Barbara Gay Men’s Chorus, or drawing inspiration from my cat, Monkey.
My portfolio is a collection of these worlds. I invite you to explore the gallery to purchase prints of my existing work, or reach out directly to collaborate on a custom, one-of-a-kind commissioned piece tailored to your space.
